Happy new year

A brand new year has started. Bye bye 2010. Best wishes to everyone. I had a good prosecco yesterday, was as good as real champaign I noticed. Even the sekt without alcohol was not so bad. And how it started. The spectacularly varied tones of the new years concert in the Concertgebouw were amazing. New year, new opportunities. A fresh start is what we can use that. At home. At work. Funny how a few weeks ago people were talking about the Elfstedentocht, and now the cold is letting up and the thaw is gaining ground. But king winter has not yet gone. And what questions do you ask yourself? Will the euro survive? Will the sailing girl make it across the globe? Will Wilders turn muslim? Will walls be torn down? Will Ajax become champion?Let us just sit down and wait. Why bother, we can’t change it anyway. Oh no, we can : pray for the best.
